To get the best results when printing with Burn-Out Base, 80/20 or 70/30 poly/ cotton garments will give you the best results. You want to make sure that you don't use a poly/cotton spun blend, the poly needs to be the mesh of the fabric with the cotton as the weave. This is typical of any 80/20 style garment, core spun will give you the best results because the poly is of a square grid. Your burned out area will be the natural color of the poly used (heather shirts will give you a black or dark poly)unless you add dye to the burn-out base. While mixing after the addition of the activator, let it sit for about 15 minutes then restir to fully dissolve the activator. Curing is recomended at 320 for 4 minutes but I get great results at 360 degrees for about 90 seconds. Hope this helps out, any questions feel free to contact me. | ||
