After trying the Oasis and the plastcharge systems I have decided to go plastcharge. Although I like the Oasis I need to learn more about waterbase before tackling this one. There are alot of questions that I have. Such as: When printing CMYK on dark garments I have seperated six screens, C,M,Y,K,White underbase and white highlight. Here are the questions Most important, Does the plastcharge change the opacity of the ink? Do I cut the C,M,Y,K With 50% clear base and calculate the discard percentage from there? I am planning on discharging the underbase white (bright tiger). Should I also discharge the highlight white? Should I print all the colors wet on wet? Or should I be flashing after the underbase and before the highlight? At what point in time does the shelf life start ticking? I would like to mix the plastsol and plastcharge together once I establish my colors and then add the discharge on an as needed basis. Since this is CMYK I need the colors to match from throughout the order which could be a day or two. Of course I would record what was done for subsequant runs. Wow, This got long. Thanks | ||
