| Alternately, you could buy Shurloc Mesh panels with the glued-on strips. They're not cheap, but the corners are pre-softened and a snap to install and tension up. If you work by yourself and are careful with your frames, they'll last as long as any mesh. I've got a used frame I bought with a 230 panel someone installed, and rock hard. I've never had to retension it. I've bought them myself, and I've never had one blow out because the corners weren't softened right. In fact, the only one I've blown out was a brand new one I dropped an aluminum handled squeegie on before I even got a stencil on it. Most of my frames are regular mesh, but truthfully, if I figure mesh I've ruined (mainly the high mesh counts) trying to get higher tension, I'd have probably saved money using the Shurloc panels. | |
