Inside your meter case you should have a small piece of glass. Either visible on the foam or underneath the foam protection. Place the glass on a flat sturdy surface and then set your meter on the glass. As the meter sits on the glass, the needle should line up perfectly with the "small circle and line" at the lower left hand corner of the bezzle. Roughly about the 7:00 position. If it is just slightly off, loosen the set-screw on the bezzle and turn the bezzle so that it does line up perfectly. Tap the meter a couple of times on the top to ensure that the needle stays lined-up at that position. Tighten the set-screw firmly by hand. If the needle is off more than 10-15 degrees either direction. I would then contact our customer service at 1-800-523-3694 (est) and tell them you need to have your meter recalibrated. Depending on the complexity of the calibration we usually will turn this around within a day or two. The calibration is typically under $100 if that's all is needed. If there is something else wrong with the meter, our office will contact you. I hope this helps and call me if you have any further questions. ____________________ George Maanao Newman Roller Frames Mfg by Stretch Devices, Inc.
