I am in the process of aquiring 100 used Newman rollers for the new auto I am getting.

I have zero experience with the Newmans... along with zero experience printing with an auto.

I have been printing manually for 14 years and am using 50 Hix Retens along with fixed aluminum frames.

I have stretched my Retens up to 30n with very little rippage or trouble.

The range of mesh I will be using on the auto will be 170-255.

We mostly print trap designs but have been delving more heavily into index printing.

Can I get some input on what tension I should be hitting on the mesh range I am using?

Any additional input on stretching and using the Newmans would be a great help also.

Thanks to all.
