Newman Roller Frames - Mfg by Stretch De

Hello Scubadog,

You may be referring to a very, very early generation of our frames. It is a model M1-X which we obviously no longer manufacture. It had black plastic nylon composite corners, endplugs and the rollers were much thinner (1 1/16". Back then the M1-X was able to handle up to 14 newtons which printers thought was ridiculously high.

The new MZX-UL is the current model and has all metal parts (no plastic or nylon) with a much thicker roller diameter (1 7/16". The MZX-UL is by far a much stronger frame built to handle greater screen tensions that many of the mesh manufacturers now offer.

You'll only find the M1-X frames floating around in the "used market".

Not sure if this is the frame you are referring to but now you at least now know of ours.
