Thats why I don't like teams, or athletic printing of any type. There are just easier ways to make a living than printing 30 shirts, and having to spend 20 minutes each matching up names and numbers and sizes and typing the names. A disclaimer is a great idea, but maybe you could make it an informative brocure on athletic printing. That way you are providing all the info that the teams need to know, including your rules, but it doesn't seem like you are trying to shift the burdon back on them - it will seem to the teams that you have provided them with a valuable resource. Explain how you do it (print the shirts), explain why they should double check everything, explain how much work goes into each unique shirt, and also have a "coaches checklist", something like this: 1) Please have each player sign off on the correct spelling of his name 2) Please order extra shirts so that additional names/numbers can be added later 3) blaw blaw blaw It's OK, if you don't like the idea, I was just brainstorming. But if you do like the idea, please share a copy of the finished brochure with all of us! | |
