happened to me just the other day. A very sweet grandma helping out with the pto at her grandkids school. I gave her the correct number of shirts ordered but she tallied them wrong. Even though I asked her to check it several times or have someone else verify it. What do you do? Field trip is wed and one kid won't have a shirt. Of course I have to print it. I normally keep the screens for a few days, but this time I needed them. I'm pissed and I'll be pissed the whole time I am setting it up and tearing it down. But what else can you do? And with a school there are no guarantees they'll even use you again. I've gotten burnt in the past going the extra mile for customers. BUT...what else can you do? I get 90% of my business by word of mouth. If I don't do it, you can bet the word will spread very fast. So there is more at stake here than just one kid without a shirt. ____________________ Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take...but by the moments that take our breath away! | |
