I had the fortune to meet the crew from CAPS at the show in Charlotte this weekend and let me tell you a little about them.

I walking around the show when I ran across the CAPS booth. Allen was printing some relly good looking 4 color shirts (the only manual press that I saw at the show that was doing more than one color), so I stopped to watch. Allen explained what he was doing and why he was doing it as he went. I must admit, I knew little of CAPS products and what I thought I knew was all wrong. Their presses are very well constructed and much thought was given to their design. They are sturdy, easy to setup and very user friendly. I told Allen that I was all set with equipment and had no intention of purchasing anything else, usually that ends the conversation with other manufacturers or distributors but Allen and his staff, still took the time to show and tell everything I had a question about. Never once did they try to push me to buy anything. While in the booth looking around, I was impressed with the number of happy CAPS former customers that stopped by to say hello or pick up another piece of equipment. Before I left the booth, I asked Allen what kind of deal he could make me on their exposure unit and he made me a great deal (i was using a homemade unit and was not very pleased with the results) so I bought it. When I came back later to pick it up, I asked Allen about his washout booth and he made me a great deal on that too. I really wanted to upgrade to a 6 color press in the future, I know now what press it will be. I am going to buy a CAPS 6/4 and I am counting my pennies and hopefully will be buying their show press in Atlanta next month. If you are looking for a press and have not seen a CAPS press, make sure that you don't buy before you have a chance to look at it, in my opinion it is as good as any press that I have seen and you couldn't be buying from nicer people.

Thanks to you guys for taking time to talk to me as a person and not your next big sale,
See you in Atlanta and would love to buy you guys dinner or a drink,
Bob
