I just wanted to shoot out a quick synopsis on the Riley Hopkins WIN series presses w/ joystick registration. Many screen printers who have been in the industry are used to the standard XY micro’s, this however, is something new and different. If you are used and have become well adapt at using standard micro’s, you might not find this too inviting. However, if you are a newer screen printer, or a weathered vet looking for a new way to get things done with an open mind its going to rock your world. The pro’s are, you can move in a 360 degree motion, about an inch each way. If you are using registration marks and lining your job up to film, its easy to tweak your screen into perfect registration. The tension knobs can be loosened all the way or just slightly to compensate for a small adjustment or a new one. It does take some guidance with your hand, however you can pick this up very easily. A registration set up that would normally take 5-10 minutes can be done in 30 seconds to a minute because there are no bolts to move and all adjustments can be made with a twitch of the wrist. If you would like to see some up close pictures please check out here. http://www.silkscreeningsupplies.com/site/799934/product/WIN64 Also if you are headed to ISS come check the Riley Hopkins press at booth number 1228.
