Hey Derrick, I measured out the 6/6 Antec and I came up with 8 1/2 feet, platen to platen. So you can decide from there how much would be comfortable for you to work with. Also Just to let you know, I spent a lot of time doing research on the manual presses out there and the Antec always got A+ reviews on holding registration and being a true all heads down press.
