I have a 6/3 legend and i tried printing all heads down (just for the heck of it). I didn't really do it in production because I am a one man army. But for the test I just asked my buddy to come over for a while.

Anyway it worked fine but as I said, I didnt really take it into production, just tested.

I really think the principle of the floating heads is really what makes it an all heads down press.

Don't know if you know any details about the technology, but basically, each head is physically and mechanically INDEPENDENT. There are these sliding plates that connect the heads to the shaft (which is proprietary ) So by having the plates slide and adjust to whatever settings you have locked in, this means that movement on other heads, movement of the base, movement of the center shaft, heck any movement at all WILL NOT affect the rest of the heads. This is in contrast to most other presses that have rigid connections.

Much easier to understand if you have one i guess!

But yes, by design, the antec is a true all heads down because each head is independent, therefore every head will be independently indexed to the two index points on each platen arm. As long as all the arms are identical (which they are) then you get all heads down printing, and some badass registration I might add.
