| hey dude i was haveing the same problem with my hix press. so i called hix to order their replacement system but they gave me some tips to see if what i already have was salvageable. they said thay it was leaking out of the actual air valves. they are rings in there that over time dry out and let air out. they said to put some drops of gun oil on the shaft of the air spring. then push the spring up and down to work in the oil. within minutes my press was good to go. now the heads will stay up for over a day. hope this helps | ||
