  Yes it can be done with additional platens, what I was referring to mostly was things like on pocket prints, and other unusual sized substrates. There is a local contract only shop that has nothing but Autos, his mins are high and he doesnt touch anything if he cannot pur it on his press. Clean up ia a big factor, cleaning out three manual screens for a 12 pc order is easy compared to 3 auto screens, but if it is all you have then go for it. I would suggest at the least get a single color table top press for small and unusual items.
