thanks everyone for all the good feedback so far.

I exposed about 10 screens today, and the two-part glue patch cracked mid-way through them (on the manual frames..), it didn't have the flexibility. So, i put duct tape on each side again, and I'm getting a good vacuum seal.

I think wetsuit glue is the way to go for the small tears.

And, I will definitely be using strips of this old blanket to lay over the corners of my screens and protect the next blanket; sounds like a good practice to get into, I appreciate the tip.

And, really appreciate the link for new material.
