I'd hav eto follow suit and say I'd straighten the HUSKIES to be VERTICLE or non oblique but then also, ˆwould do the same to the smaller arched type at top. For some reason, with it sitting up on top of the arch, i would also keep that a verticle type. The way it is now, seems to lend it'self more so to a "circle type" setting…than being the top of an arch setting. For me, I owuld also enhance that highlight on the metalic reflection area inside the huskies type. Just so that it would be more likely to print or show up after running 20-40 shirts and adding the dot gain. Right now, it's only about 20% lighter than that dark color green next to the front of the helmet top. Once dot gain is added greatly, that will then fill in much more and be even less prominant. I always stay away from those gray areas or fine lines. I like my areas black and white or nice and thick so's I can see them. It takes a high end shop to not worry about reproducing those close in tone or subtle prints. If your using two shaded of that green, then great. but it if's halftone, then I would enhance the contrast more. Oh-and a …more cow bell. ____________________ Dot-Tone Dan / DOT-TONE – DESIGNS Artist specializing in the original…simulated process separation methods. ![]() The Code of Fair Practice for the Graphic Communication Industry http://www.gag.org/about/fair_code.php http://www.templetons.com/brad/copymyths.html http://www.copyright.gov/ Why we can post sales in the artist forum. http://boards.screenprinters.net/viewthread/3/357295 | |
