I had an artist from this board do a sep for me once, paid up front, and it turned out great. Had another job I didn't want to do as a 4 color process, so sent the design, got the quote, paid with paypal, and couldn't use the seps, printed horrible. Called to see if he could make some adjustments, never replied, no email replies either. Because of the deadline I needed to print this order, so I sep'd it as a 4 color process, and printed it. Turned out ok the customer was happy, but I wasn't. Since this artist offered a money back guarentee, I emailed him to see if he would credit me for another sep job in the future, I din't even want to get my money back. No problem...until the next week when his phone was disconnected, and he quit answering his emails, and pretty much vanished. The real funny part is that on these boards he used an image of my design (that he couldn't sep) in his ad for highend separation services. I wish I knew paypal was so buyer friendly then.
