I think that it's fine to post a name for non payment (if you like). The only thing that bothers me about that is that (we always have two sides). So, it just gets out of hand (as we have seen recently).  One time, an artist psoted a Co name of another artist (showing the art and all) of plagerisim. Using his art and the other Co selling it on his site.………when it came down to it, the other side of that was, that it was a mistake…of one of his college students…using that art identically and submited it to the site owner as the students own art. That happens alot whener someone tkaes art off the internet and think that they can re-draw it and claim it as their own…because they think they can–if it's re-drawn. I think the best option would be to have a NON PAYMENT ALERT or SLOW PAYMENT WATCH forum. Where you can onl y post the name and situation. Never to have others be able to get reply post a reply in the same post…except for the offendee or offendor. No need for all the drama. It's jsut waaaay too much info. All you need it the Name, amount, work done, (maybe an image example). The other thing to remember, is that when you make this an option, ……any time someone has some sort of issue, it will be used as a tool. Like CALLER #1, "Your 3 days late. If you don't pay me today, I will post it on the SLOW PAY ALERT forum! CALLER #2, "Well, go ahead because I'm gonna post it that your a jerk artist that doesn't do what I want and then you charge me for it!……and on and on. All we need is the NAME. then we make out own decisions. Another fact that you may think about is that if we do get a forum like this, you will probably see many more names on it that your familiar with…than we had imagined. I'd had many good clientele (currently doing work for) that have been slow pays at times. On the flip side, ……I have been a slow pay to one Co from the boards for printing I had done by them.…the order wasn't for me really, but my name was on it (doing it for a friend). So, I could hav e been on that list of slow pays had he printer wanted to be nasty. He/she took the high road and polightly arranged payment schedules. .…I paid it but took prob. 2-3 months of payments. Then, if we do get a SLOW PAY ALERT list, whats next? What else can we get a list for? Slow art turnover? I'd be guilty…often. Slow printing completion? Missed deadline of art? Missed deadline of print job? …insert subject matter. The downfall of al that, is that this website will begin to ahve a black cloud over it. Being known as the BLACK LIST forum.
