Hi Jon, The situation you describe does come up from time to time with the PRPL series. It usually occurs with pure photopolymer emulsions and most often when they are slightly underexposed. The post exposure you describe probably did not do enough. For two reasons, I recommend that when you are doing process or even high detail halftone printing that you use a dual-cure emulsion. It will give you better dot resolution and it will stand up well to the ink. I also recommend that when you get the new emulsion, use an exposure calculator to dial in the exact correct exposure. This procedure will give you the best screens possible for all your work. If you do not have a calculator, the distributor you purchase your emulsions from should be able to get you one.
