Toni, I can assure you that its not "what" is printing your ink, its how. Using a manual press or an automatic press will not have any effect on the inks washability. The effects you are experiencing are directly related to your printing techniques from the standpoint of a few factors. 1) Mesh count & tension 2) Screen Coating & EOM (emulsion thickness) 3) Squeegee durometer & Pressure 4) Flood and print speeds. By learning to control those variables for automatic printing there is not a single reason why any brand of ink will perform differently than it would if the same ink was manually printed. All too often people use excessive amounts of squeegee pressure and drive the ink into, rather than onto the garment. Yes this yields a softer print, but does not offer the opacity you may have noticed when manually printing. Also, its common for people to get an automatic press and not get a fryer that can match its production output. The shirts pass through the dryer in such a volume that they simply do not cure properly, and so will fade when washed. In the end there may be many reasons why your having this issue, but its not related to the inks ability to be used on an automatic press. ____________________ www.calibratedsps.com - Screen Printing Equipment - Supplies - Online Store ![]() Providing 7-Days A Week Toll Free Customer Support For Every Product Sold ![]() Printers Forums Equipment Classifieds Tutorials Employment Listings
