I normally use Union Ultrasoft white for most of my jobs and use it as an underbase with good results. While buying ink last time asked for Ultrasoft and I got home before realizing they'd given me Union Maxopake Lo Odor Lo Bleed white. I was wondering if this was a good ink to have around for certain things. I have a 7-color job coming up in a few days. Half the job is Hanes Heavyweight 100% Cotton, the other half is Hanes Comfort Blend 50/50 sweatshirts. Do I want to use this ink I've never used before for this job or should I go get the ink I usually use? Is the Maxo white going to give me any problems? (There was a statement on the bucket of ink saying that the blocking agents in the ink might cause a 'ghosting' effect.) Is it something I won't want to be experimenting with? Will the underbase be heavy enough that I don't have to come back over it again with white when I print the other colors? [Edited on 8/9/06 by invizzible] | |
