quote: First let me say, I am sorry to hear that your press was damaged in such a manner..it puts a dampener on the excitement that you should be experiencing. However, as a distributor I must point out a simple fact that I am sure your aware of. Title and risk of damages, or loss pass to the customer upon tender of shipment to the carrier. If your merchandise is damaged in transit, you must file claim with the carrier. That means that once any package, or freight shipment leaves the vendors warehouse the carrier of that package or freight is the sole entity responsible for ensuring that it arrives to your door intact and without damage. Unless that carrier can PROVE that the crate or packaging was not to standard, or insufficient for the method in which it was to be shipped Anatol is not responsible for the damages, or loss of production as you have hinted at....and by your own admission you failed to properly identify the extent of those damages. Some of the delay I am guessing at getting the part to you may be related to dealing with the shipping carriers insurance company. I have been down this road before with shipping companies and quite frankly it sucks, so I feel your pain and frustration. As for the AC-Inverter, well like all companies who manufacture equipment sometimes the actual company who makes these parts has reliability issues with them, or in some cases discontinues them without much notice to the companies who use them...I have seen this happen many times from several other brands of equipment. Anatol does not manufacture many of those parts so, there may be little fault if any on them for the problems associated to the AC-Inverter. I also don't see how making threats of legal action for what appears to me at least problems arising from the actions of the shipping company who damages your press will help what is surely a frustrating experience. While this is completely "hindsight" the best course of action should have been taken on the day the freight company delivered the press and you saw that it was damaged. You should have refused it, or demanded that an inspector for the carrier come down to your shop ASAP and demanded that they make a complete replacement of the press. I am not sure that any of this helps...in fact it may make you a bit angrier to read it, however my point is to state that at least from my viewpoint the brunt of your problems and frustration are in fact not Anatol's doing. The AC-Inverter issue may be similar to the one I have from my Ford-F150 cruise control recall....the manufacturer of the recalled part simply cant provide enough of them to meet demand and I am told that i cant get my truck fixed until JANUARY of next year! The recall was last June! Fords answer was to simply have me come to the dealer to have the cruise control disconnected until then....I drive about 37,000+ miles a year and no cruise control really, really sucks bad. Again, I feel for you and it does sound like your dealing with a bad situation, however I can tell you that its the exception not the norm and Anatol otherwise is fairly good at dealing with these situations. You should also enlist the help of the dealer you made your purchase from, and see if they have some resources that can help aide your situation. ____________________ www.calibratedsps.com - Screen Printing Equipment - Supplies - Online Store ![]() Providing 7-Days A Week Toll Free Customer Support For Every Product Sold ![]() Printers Forums Equipment Classifieds Tutorials Employment Listings
