  Dagger,
One more thing, I went off on a tangent about dryer positioning, but didn't answer your press positioning question. When I do an installation, I ask my customer how far they want the outside edge of the unload station pallet away from the dryer conveyor frame. Everybody wants this distance to be from 32 to 36 inches, I have never had anybody ask me to do it any other way. I try to get the unload pallet arm as close to a right angle to the dryer as I can. Press operators prefer this because they can switch off from rotating right to rotating left while unloading, to prevent soreness. Consider any posts that are in your way and try to position the press so that the post lands outside the safety cords, and that it does not interfere with screen loading or flash mounting. As far as how much room you need around the press, that depends on if you are using an in-head flash (least space required), a free-standing quartz flash (sticks out a little) or an infrared flash that cycles the panel in and out of the head (requires the most space). You will also need enough room to roll these flashes around the press. Also, you will need to be able to walk around the press with the flashes installed. Usually, about 5 feet of clearance around the print heads is sufficient, but more is better.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Tom
