Imagep, Look at it this way... If the client is worth over 250 thousand in promotional products and you earn a good portion of his business you will soon receive 65% of the profit. Once all the branches order once and you have the re-order information, you will be able to go to the order and just push the re-order button. The next day you will have 25 bucks. Not a lot of course, but its still like having a button you press and get 25 bucks. You were able to have the low price because of the volume discounts as a Kaeser & Blair dealer. You also have an offset business to run. Once you reach the accellerated level with just 50,000 in sales you will have a lot more perks like a personal account rep, free samples, 1/2 price self promos, and the higher commision rate. Make sure you are using the website to place your orders. It is too easy not to. Make sure you're on direct deposit - you get paid in 1 day that way. You also might want to call your regional guy and see if they will set you up this way now - tell them you have a client that is going to buy over 50,000 from you this year. And of course the short answer would have been no it not worth dealing with orders that make you 20 bucks UNLESS they are from a company that's going to buy 250,000. (if you get all that business, and sell on a C through Kaeser and blair you will make $65,000 in paid up front commissions) And Yes you would have paid Kaeser $35,000 for their services. As someone just starting with out your own or someone on hand with experience with ad specialties it may be woth it. It may not. That's for you to figure out. My number is 570-451-3233 if you want me to help you with who to talk to over there Bernie | ||
