I share knowledge of my industry here, because some members are both selling promos and printing some of the products they sell. Many of the sources I use aren't open to the average screen printer anyway. By sharing, I hope to make contacts with two categories of people here. Some who will order from me, rather than constantly trying to open new accounts with every different supplier out there, and secondly with those who might be open to the Kaeser & Blair opportunity. For years, PPDs have been adding screen printing to their business, so what's the big deal about screen printers adding promos to their business? I sell a lot of t-shirts, caps, and other silk-screened apparel, so the screen printers could complain about me stepping on their toes as that's the bulk of their business, while it's only about one-quarter of mine. The bulk of my business is local and regional, as I service most of my clients face-to-face. Although I do get about 10 to 20% of my business from the internet each month, I'm not competing heavily with anyone in this forum. There's more than enough business to go around from my point of view. Most months, my cup is overflowing and I can't get to all the business that I know is out there anyway.
