I am living in Central New Jersey and looking for employment. Willing to print, do color separations or help run production. Summary: My experience in the graphics and printing industry does not limit me to any one area in the textile screen-printing industry. I have staff management skills along with maintaining customer relations and sales teams. I enjoy working in a fast paced environment with challenging work and unreasonable deadlines. Screen-printing skills: Manual and automatic press experience, Newman roller frame preparation and stretching, staff management for production floor and employee cross training. Can and will help employees with basic printing skills and advanced printing techniques for high-end printing on darks. Understanding half-tone printing to avoid the downfalls of under or over exposed screens and improper line screens or half-tone size. Including use of proper screens and under-base control. Introduce proper screen exposure and pre-press introduction skills. •Reclaiming screens/prep for coating. •Stretching screens/proper Newton levels. •Coating screens with emulsion. •Register and tape up separations for exposure unit. (pre- burning screens) •Exposure experience- Proper screen exposure, times and testing targets. •Ink color matching for customers PMS colors. “Wilflex preferably” •High-end halftone printing on light and dark garments. •Press set-up and registration of press. •Automatic and manual press experience. “M&R preferably” •Ability to print on all kinds of media. •Shop set-up/production planning for large printing runs. •Material, supplies and vendor ordering. Production floor: Manage personnel and work flow from pre-press to on press set-up. Instruct employees how to apply proper skills and techniques to achieve the highest textile screen-printing standers. Help with purchasing and training of automatic printing equipment. Implement new ideas in production to insure quality control and deadlines are achieved.
