Job Description The Screen Printing specialist will have lead responsibility for the screen printing production process. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the screen printing process including: • Extensive experience in four (4) color screen printing equipment and process • Screen parameters effecting print quality such as screen mesh, screen tension, screen angles and number of lines • Screen preparation and reclamation process • Press operation • Knowledge of Inks These skills will be important as this team member will be expected to: • Ensure all signs are printed and ready to be shipped out within the established turn time • Ensure quality during the screen printing process • Ensure all appropriate maintenance is done on all screen printing equipment on a regular basis • Lead in the training of other production team members on the screen printing process • Follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing production functions • Perform all other related duties as needed or requested Specific Job Requirements: • Physical stamina sufficient to stand during entire shift, excluding rest breaks • Physical stamina sufficient to move and lift 55 pound boxes • Proven ability to trouble-shoot and solve production issues in the screen printing process • Desire to continuously improve your work environment • Desire to be a part of a fast-growing company where you will be expected to play an integral role in production and process improvements • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management Hours We are looking for someone who could start by May first but can be flexible. You need to be available for evening and weekend hours when needed as determined by incoming orders. Night hours may occasionally be needed but are not regularly scheduled. Flexible schedule is a plus! Compensation Starting rate will commensurate with experience and credentials. Benefits package included.
