You have been watching as much "myth-busters" as I have it sounds like!!! LOL When we used to have training classes at Stretch Devices....this always came up. We had a class in from Texas Screen Process supply a long time ago (Graphic solutions group now). One of their sales reps who was up for training also wanted to see a 100ncm screen (seeing as how Don Newman always claimed the frames were stable to 100ncm). So...we stretched a 23x31 M3A to an initial tension of 65ncm with 88tpi rollermesh. Five retensions later and by mid afternoon we had a 105ncm frame. Did the quarter bounce then went to the machine shop to demo it on the granite plate. It was a fun mythbuster! Ray | ||
