Sometimes it might be advantages to choke back a little when wet colors touch wet colors.

Another option you have is to flash between the yellow and black if they are getting muddy

If the Ultrasoft you mentioned is Union, its extremely runny. Switching to a thicker ink might improve the situation. QCM is quite a bit thicker, but dont know about other brands.

In Corel, you can add a Contour for additional outline. Do some searches on the Corel forum to find out the method.
