| My best advise is to use true zipper boards with a gap that is large enough for the zipper to sit down in or line your boards with neoprene fabric to give it some cushion. Also make sure that the zipper pull is either off of the board or your screen is securely reinforced cuz they tend to pop screens really quickly. Make sure your printer is using the correct off contact setting for sweatshirt fabric. Are you using garments with kiss zippers? (When the zipper is zipped the edge fabric covers the zipper) They are a lot more screen print friendly. This month's Impressions magazine has a great article with a ton of suppliers mentioned. We print full color (up to 8) and embroider/applique zip sweats all the time. It shouldn't be that hard with a little bit of practice. Please feel free to email me if you (or your printer) have other questions. | ||
