Couple of areas... when printing, if you stop the run and then start again, the first shirt you then print may have a blotch or block on it. It usually then clears and the next shirt in sequence is fine, but once thru the dryer, you see the "spot" and think what just happened. Also, the screen needs to have sufficient discharge in it at all times, if you let it run down in the screen, you may have the blot issue come up again. We constantly monitor the discharge in production adding more into the screen and keeping it full. On larger runs, we mist it with a spray bottle. You obviously could also have had an area dry in the screen, which would not allow the discharge to come thru fully onto the garment. We have varied the discharge in the screen to get different effects.....allowing for a not complete discharge...a more, worn/weathered effect. Meaning, that you can control how much the shirt discharges as well. Hope that helps | ||
