I'm guessing at these figures, I don't use your type of ink but the method would be the dsme. Total the cost (include freight) of your primary colors, black, white, red, yellow, green and blue. Devide the total by 6, thats your average per gallon. Most catalogs or can labels will give you a square foot of coverage per gallon, deviide that figure into the gallon amount and that yives you a square foot pice. Example, 1 gal @ $95.00, devide it by sq ft coverage, say 700. Your cost per sq ft would be .13.5 per sq ft. You don't have to seperate the colors sinse you averaged the, you then determine how many sq ft used on a shirt and add that amount to each shirt. This is'nt usually a big expense on small orders, you may loose on one job and gain on the next one. | |
