The distress pattern is actually a modification of one of the Mister Retro Machine Wash filters. I opened the .pdf of the filter (they used to include the .pdf files on the cds, but I don't think they do that anymore), and modified quite a bit... changed it to grayscale adjusted the tone tweaked the contrast/brightness/intensity Then I switched it to b&w mode lineart, and adjusted the slider until I like what I saw.. Saved it as a .tif, and now it's a lovely clear overlay that I can use very easily in CorelDraw. I adjusted all of the MisterRetro filters this way, but saved my favorites over into a separate folder to make it easier to locate them. This was the one called Splatter_Paint and it's definitely my favorite of the whole bunch. A close second would be my modification of the filter called brittle ____________________ Angie Davis currently Ad Specialty Company/Artist http://www.angiedavisgraphics.com formerly Freelance Screenprinting Computer Graphics Artist of 15 years | |
