  Hello Dan,

I have been printing on USB flash drives(plastic and metal) for the last couple of years and have found a good 2 component ink for printing on metals is by TOSH I get it through padprinters.com. Not trying to plug the company the ink works great for what I need and the guys there know there stuff!! I run about 10,000 Aluminum drives a month on average. Its the STB-NT ink that I use.I run it at 4:1 ratio(ink to hardener) and run it on the thin side 25 to 30% on the thinner. Like Frank said make sure its CLEAN of any oil.

Hope this helps you out.
