Hi TJ Some companies sell a viscosity knife. But you will do better to add the thinner by weight. You will find that pad printing relies on the speed that the ink dries in the plate and on the pad for pick up and release. You will have to find the best thinner speed for the conditions. Some thinners are fast for cold environments and some are slow for hot areas. Then you will need to set your machine speed to match you thinner. Plus you will get to know the viscosity of the ink by looking at the ink plate and print. Plate starts to coat with ink add thinner Ink looks thick add thinner Fine print or lines not picking up add thinner. Hope this helps Frank | ||
