well.. it's progressed a little. I made a plate last night which managed to print something (albeit not on the machine, just me rubbing some mixed ink on the plate and then quickly wiping it off with a blade, before manually pressing the pad onto the plate someone suggested it rather than continually having to wash out this tray thing!) I got a faint print which looked ok, and when i looked back at the image there was still ink in there, so i guess that if i stick to the plate timings on that plate and make the ink thinner then theoretically it should pick up all the ink and voila! at the minute i'm using 10% thinner, think i'll up it to 20% and see what happens. Also, I only exposed it to the tint for approximately 10 seconds, what is the purpose of the tint? Laura. ____________________ all i want to do is simple printing!! | ||
