hiya.. thanks once again. Using a photopolymer plate and washing with water. My main problem is that when the blade wipes away the ink it isnt leaving anything on the image, so the pad has little/nothing to pick up. when i adjust the blade it seems that 2 things happen, it either leaves ink on the plate, or takes the whole lot off, so i dare say i need to experiment a little. Am i right when i print my image on a transparency in reverse, then attach the transparency to the plate with the toner away from the plate? Also, when the image is on the plate should i be able to run my finger over the image and feel an indent? (sorry, stupid newbie question!!)... i get the feeling the image isn't deep enough, how do i make it deeper? when i apply the tint do i leave it on for longer? My instructions say that the longer it's applied to the tint and exposed the shallower the image, is that right? so by that logic if i apply for 5 seconds i should have a crater! oh and th eplate has the heading "quick plate" on the instructions, does that help?
