The head is bad, had the same problem with mine twice. Bought it with a bad head, then let someone use it that didn't clean it after printing enough to use up 6 cartridges. I used signage specialists, I think they're out of Colorado but don't have the info anymore. There was also a place in Mass. I believe that works on these, costs about $700.00. The resin is for vinyl, the wax for heat transfers, which it did do a fairly nice job on. Don't know how difficult it is to replace the head on the PC 600 but just replaced the printhead on my 1280 over the weekend and it wasn't that awful difficult.
