The cardboard does;nt determine the mesh count, the detail in the image does. Probably a 230 mesh using an all purpose ink should work unless your printing halftones. Nazdar makes a 9700 series that will air dry in about 30 minutes or in seconds with a jet air dryer.
Un-like a textile, you must dry between colors.
