Simplex decal paper is the gum paper you mentioned, you need decal lacquer inks. When decal lacquers become hard to find, we used vinyl inks, they are harder to transfer but for small sizes they do fine. Print your first clear carrier thru a 120 (or close), you want a heavy depolit, then your colors I would use a 230 mesh, Let your clear dry at least 8 hours befor laying down your colors, it takes the clear that long to flow and dry. We never force dry the clear. After the colors are dry, reset the clear screen again, sandwiching the colors between the clears. We do a lot of Tonkel Toys decals for a collectors club. The key is don't rush them, one day per color and your safe. | |
