I just finished the job and these things helped.

According to Lance, and I will paraphrase as he spent about 15 min on the phone with me.

LB ink does tend to pit with too much flash. So Cotton white works better, but this order was for 50/50 hoodies and 100% tees. So in goes the LB white.

He suggested adding 1-3% stretch additive which thankfully I had on the shelf. I eyeballed a bit more than that. It helps to smooth out the blowing agent in LBHO white. WE also had Marty camped out at the flash unit backing it down to the min (we have a Q-runner that tends to get hotter as we go).

I ran one 80/20 hoody and that looked fantastic since it is much smoother/tighter weave.

I will try to sell those for these applications in the future.

He also said to run the hoodies through the dyer before to help remove excess moisture that also affects the flash. We had already run the left chest so we did not do that for the backs.

The ink seemed to be stickier and made a pop noise, but it did not affect the print... maybe I added too much stretch stuff. I just sprayed web each time to make sure it did not pull up.

OK, hope this helps. You can thank Lance. Think I will start buying my ink/supplies from him since he is very helpful and know his stuff.

All the best~
