| I've gotten moire with Shur-Locs. It could've been the mesh count/linescreen, but it wasn't the "checkerboard" pattern that is so familiar but more like a sweeping arc. Someone pointed out to me that it might be the way the mesh was stretched, and with MZX frames, if you look across the mesh, you can see that the mesh tends to change direction down at the short roller opposite the square bar. I just shot 6 screens last night, all 256 mesh, 50 lpi at 22.5 degrees and they all came out good, although in one that happens to be a Shur-Loc panel, I think I detect a slight amount of moire, but I don't think it'll really affect the print. So far, this is the most success I've had with this particular print (3rd time). 22.5 seems to give the best result. | |
