My main business is printing with dye sublimation but I have been using www.jblgraphics.com inks and paper for several years now for hats and customers who do not want moisture wicking shirts. It works great on 50/50 materials. I have a sweatshirt I printed in 2003 that is still very bright that I wear througout the winter (it has outlasted a couple of my (purchased) screen printed shirts!) Another good ink that I know of is the MagicMix inks from http://personalizedsupplies.com/ Most people I know are using Transjet II paper which is the brand name owned by Air Waves and re-branded many names such as Spectra-Bright & MagicJet from the two suppliers I mention above. When applied properly the image does have a "feel" to the transfer area but it is not bad and does wash out quickly. If you do not apply it properly (too much time or temperature) it will yellow and be much more stiff, not nice at all. I hope this helps. Happy pressing! ____________________ Cherie Derrick http://www.dyesub.org http://www.encompasstech.com | |
