depending on the transfer paper you use, the hand is going to be there until you wash the shirt. TransJettII paper has the lightest hand just after pressing but translutions (miracool) has a lighter hand after washing - both are nearly undetectable after 3-4 washes. I have not had as good a luck with laser, hand is OK but durability (for me) isn't nearly as good.
