I'm completely new to this business having been in screenprinting for a while now. What I'm facing is this, I have a pretty big job coming up and I have my choice of screening it or using heat transfers. I've got a great design for transfers, and it would be so much easier than all the set ups for screens. I'm using an Epson R1800, but when I ran a test, the front of the shirt looks like plastic. How can I reduce/eliminate the "hand"? Is there a special paper I can get for this? I'm currently using OEM inks. I'm willing to have these transfers custom done by one of my vendors with laser if need be, because they are a big repeat customer and I want them to be happy with the results. Also, there will be a large print on the back of the shirt and a small logo on the front, how do I do front and back without sticking it all together? Please be gentle, I'm new and reading as much as quickly as I can. Thanks in advance for all your help, and for any salesmen out there....don't try to sell me a system or something, that's not what I'm here for. ____________________ Say It With Maximum Impact! | |
