Thanks Michael, I understand and agree. I also think that the low cost printers you mentioned are basically for the hobby printers who buy the paper at wallmart anyway.

I read some posts in the past from people who tested the dyes and pigments next to each other and they claim an other downside of using the dyes as well. Dyes seems to appear blurry in some prints where the pigments appear with more sharpness. This may have something to do with the fact that dyes will penetrate to the fabric immedeate where pigments lay more on top until the heat curing is done but I am not sure about this.

I wish you success with your upcoming trials and hope you keep me posted on your results and what you feel about it.
