Dear Michael,

With my respect, sure I agree with your point about quality or long lasting differences if using no pigmented inks but:

The paper has a coating which allow users to use any inks with a washable result. Therefore one can use inks from any ink jet printer. If one is looking for very long lasting results they will improve their work flow with the following recommendations.

Using pigmented inks in stead makes prints more and longer washable. This make it however restricted to the printers with heads based upon Piezo technology such as- but not only the Epson. After washing, also the feel is improved.

A second improvement can be made by using the right third party of water based pigmented inks. We did tests which shows an improvement of up to 25% more durability where especially the black appeared as a more real black.

Regards
Jan
