  Sinclair ZX80 was the first on in my house. Followed about a year and a half later by the Timex that Frog mentioned.

Scored an 8088 in 1984 or so. No HDD for us, though. All floppies. Sure don't miss swapping out discs to load the OS, then load programs. We did, however have a killer graphics card on it so we could play Flight Simulator.

Technically I suppose my dad's old HP calculator that had a mag strip card reader/writer built-in was the first computer in the house. We had a turn-based Lunar Lander program card for it that I loved to play. No graphics of course - it had a red LED character display.
