It is like a bazillion times better than Word. With WP it lets you do what you want to do unlike MS Word which thinks it knows better than you. I especially like the drag image function that allows you to place an image anywhere in the paragraph and it will automatically justify the text around it. Word Perfect used to be the mainstay of word processing and die hard writers will still use nothing else.
