	Running your laptop as your PC shouldn't be a huge issue, just be aware that replacement laptop parts are typically more expensive than PC parts. For instance: 250GB 3.5" HDD (PC) - $59.99 250GB 2.5" HDD (Laptop) - $149.99 Outside of that, you should be fine.
